AFCAT Eligibility for Flying Branches
Age: 19 to 23 years
Academic Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR BE/B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
Note: If you have failed in Pilot Aptitude Battery Test in an earlier attempt OR a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training of Air Force Academy, then you are not eligible to apply.
AFCAT Eligibility for Technical Branch
Age: 18 to 28 years
- i) Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics): BE/ B.Tech with minimum 60% marks OR cleared Section A & B examination of AMIE by actual studies and must studied any eight subjects from the eighteen subjects listed below.

- For Graduates: 20 yo 23 years
- For PG/LLB (5 years): 20 to 25 years
- For LLB (3 years after graduation): 20 to 26 years
- For M.Ed, Ph.D, CA, ICWA: 20 to 27 years
Administration & Logistics
Academic Qualification: Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in any discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
Academic Qualification: BCom with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or MCom/ CA/ ICWA with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together .
Academic Qualification: Post Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
